Okay, there are actually 30+ reasons that Craftoberfest is awesome. Here’s a peak at the 2013 vendors…
The first Friday after Labor Day has been one of my favorite days for the past 10 years. Not only is it the first time we all start thinking about cooler fall weather, but it’s also the weekend that Art Outside takes over Schlafly Bottleworks.
The girls and I spent an incredibly artsy afternoon at the 2013 Saint Louis Art Fair (SLAF), and although we only caught a small glimpse of the amazing professional artists displaying their work at the fair, we did spend many hours enjoying the Creative Castle children’s art area.
It has been just about one year since I sold my first scarf on Etsy, so I thought now would be the time to reflect on what my scarves have been up to this year…
There’s a lab in my neighborhood. It’s not oozing with noxious chemicals, but there are some pretty amazing creations emerging from it…
The other night I saw my first R-S Theatrics show – The Cherry Sisters Revisited. It’s based on the true story of The Cherry Sisters and their ten-year run as an infamously awful vaudeville act. I caught up with the Cherry Sisters after the show and they shared their favorite lines with me. Enjoy!

Upcycle Exchange offers the St. Louis creative community post-consumer art and craft supplies.[…]

That’s why designing the graphics for SATE’s newest production – Eleemosynary – left me just a bit terrified.Eleemosynary is Lee Blessing’s[…]
I’m so excited to be sharing a booth with one of my best friends, CeeCee Baublite, at the 2012 Garden Heights Art Walk on October 13! CeeCee’s printmaking (both linocut and screen prints) are gorgeous and available on tote bags and clothing. She also recently started creating super cute bug jewelry. Check out her work:[…]
I’m so excited to have submitted my first tee design to Threadless!
